Billing History & Invoices

Access, download, and manage your DocuNero subscription invoices and billing history. DocuNero uses Stripe to securely generate and manage all subscription invoices.

Secure Invoice Management

You can easily view past payments, download invoice PDFs, and access receipts directly from your billing dashboard.

1. Viewing Your Billing History

You can view your full payment history by navigating to:

Billing & Plans → Invoices

This page displays:

  • Invoice date
  • Amount paid
  • Status (Paid, Upcoming, Refunded, Failed)
  • Paid date
  • A direct link to View Invoice in Stripe

Complete History

This allows you to quickly review your subscription charges over time.

2. Viewing an Individual Invoice

Click View Invoice next to any payment entry.

You will be redirected to Stripe's secure invoice page, where you can:

  • View the full invoice details
  • See the payment method used
  • Check tax or GST breakdowns
  • Verify the invoice number
  • Review payment status

Stripe provides a clean, standardized format for accurate record-keeping.

3. Downloading Invoices & Receipts

From the Stripe invoice page, you can download:

  • Invoice (PDF)
  • Receipt (PDF)

These documents can be used for:

  • Business accounting
  • Tax compliance
  • Reimbursements
  • Audit purposes

Each PDF includes:

  • Invoice number
  • Payment amount
  • Transaction date
  • Payment method
  • Billing email
  • Line-item breakdown (if applicable)

4. Automatic Email Delivery

Every time a payment is processed:

  • Stripe automatically sends the invoice to your billing email address
  • A receipt is included for successful payments

No Manual Downloads Needed

You do not need to manually download invoices unless needed for records.

5. Managing Payment Methods

To update your billing card:

  1. Go to Billing & Plans → Current Plan
  2. Click Manage Payment
  3. Stripe opens your secure billing portal
  4. Add or replace your credit card

Your future invoices will automatically use the updated payment method.

6. Failed Payments & Invoice Status

If a payment fails:

  • The invoice is marked Unpaid or Past Due
  • Stripe will retry the payment automatically
  • You'll receive an email prompting you to update your card

Once the payment succeeds, the invoice is updated to Paid.

7. Invoice Availability Even After Cancellation

Even if you:

  • Cancel your subscription
  • Downgrade
  • Switch plans

You still retain access to your entire billing history. Invoices and receipts remain available for download at any time.

8. Understanding Invoice Details

A Stripe invoice may include:

  • Invoice number (e.g., KYBEEZRW-0001)
  • Payment date
  • Amount charged
  • Payment method (masked card number)
  • Tax or VAT details (if applicable)
  • Downloadable invoice & receipt buttons

Yes. Update your billing email under Settings → Profile or by contacting support.

Are invoices stored permanently?
