1. Where to Export Your Data

You can export data from multiple locations in DocuNero:

A. Single Document View

  • Open any processed document
  • Click Export
  • Choose your desired format

B. Documents Page

  • Select one or multiple processed documents
  • Click Export Selected

C. Batch View

  • Export all documents processed within the same batch

2. Available Export Formats

DocuNero currently supports the following export formats:

1. CSV (Comma-Separated Values)

Best for:

  • Excel / Google Sheets
  • Bookkeeping
  • Importing into accounting software that accepts CSV templates

  • All extracted invoice/receipt fields
  • Line items
  • Raw OCR text (if included in parsed_json)

Best for:

  • Sharing reviewed documents

Features:

  • A formatted export showing document summary
  • Extracted data (vendor, totals, tax, payment info) presented clearly
  • Not intended for bulk analysis—best for human-readable summaries

3. What Data Is Included in Exports?

Exports include all fields DocuNero processes:

Document-level fields

  • Vendor name
  • Invoice/receipt date
  • Total amount
  • Tax amount
  • Currency
  • Payment method
  • Category
  • Record type (Invoice or Receipt)
  • Timestamps

Line item data (if available)

  • Description
  • Quantity
  • Unit price
  • Total line amount
  • Taxes (when present)

4. Export Requirements

Before you can export a document:

Export Checklist

  • The document must finish processing
  • The extracted fields must be reviewed (recommended)
  • Any mandatory fields must not be empty

6. Export Options

Include Line Items in Export

When enabled:

  • Each line item becomes a separate row in CSV/XLSX
  • Document-level fields (vendor, totals, category, etc.) repeat automatically
  • Ideal for bookkeeping, analytics, and category reporting

When disabled:

  • Each document appears as one summary row

7. Filtering Your Export

DocuNero allows you to refine your export using a set of filters.

1. Date Type

Choose which date to filter by:

  • Invoice/Receipt Date — the date printed on the document
  • Upload Date — the date the document was uploaded to DocuNero

2. Date Range

Specify From Date and To Date to narrow down the export.

3. Vendor Filter (Optional)

Export only documents associated with a specific vendor name.

4. Export Scope

Depending on your workspace permissions, you can choose:

  • All Tenant Records — exports every processed and approved document

Go to Exports & Reports

Click New Export

  • Export scope
  • Report type
  • Format (CSV, Excel, JSON, PDF)

Choose whether to enable line items

Apply filters if needed

Click Generate Export

Your export will appear in the Exports list, where you can download it once completed.

9. Where Your Exports Are Saved

All generated reports are stored in the Exports & Reports page, including:

You can download exports at any time.
